Photography is an influential tool, bringing to the world the destruction and the pain of people are subjected to - but what fraction of the devastation do we see? We see what we see and we have the good nature to forget what we saw, as long as we haven’t been subjected to the pain, but what we should not forget not to allow war and violence to happen again in the name of anything. Iraqi people will probably have to live through several generations before they will be able to live normal lives, especially with the non-stop violence.
